We took charge of the design, project management, and build for the property, which was delivered as a bare shell with no utilities in place. From initial briefing to final completion, the entire process spanned just one year, and all work was successfully delivered within the agreed-upon timeframe and budget.

How can we improve current workflows? Before starting the design, we conducted a thorough analysis of project requirements and preferences. Using this data, we created an ideal space planning that combines various activities. At the new Vatsquare office, desk jobs can be couch jobs, bar jobs, standing jobs or all of those combined!

The design is founded on the character of the building, which has a striking and rugged look. Striking because of the large mezzanine with two-story windows that offer so much light and grandeur. Rugged because of the large amount of concrete.

To balance it out, rich materials were added. There’s walnut wood and velvet, but also some pure, tactile fabrics such as linen and the terracotta tiles on the back of the bar. The grandeur of the mezzanine is emphasized by the bar and the curtains that were placed along its entire length. The long, custom-made table adds to the hospitality look and feel.
